Dead Rising 3 denied classification in Germany

Xbox One exclusive will not launch with console in Germany.

Dead Rising 3 will not be released as part of Xbox One’s launch lineup in Germany after being unable to attain an age-rating by the country’s entertainment software self-regulation body, Microsoft has confirmed.

It is uncertain what content restricted Dead Rising 3 from attaining a rating, or if Microsoft plans to submit an altered version of the game.

“While Microsoft is disappointed with this decision, we respect the views of the review panels and have withdrawn Dead Rising 3 from Germany’s Xbox One launch line-up,” Microsoft said in a statement. “Beyond that, we have no further comment.”
