Discussionist: Developer Mashup

Mix and match your favorite developers.

With Hideo Kojima describing Grand Theft Auto V as “amazing,” “awesome,” and “the future of games,” it made me wonder: what, exactly, would Kojima do if he had a crack at Rockstar’s open-world everything simulator?

On that same note, what developers would you like to see have a go at another studio’s intellectual properties? And why?

Tell me how their interpretation would differ, and what unique identifiers they’d bring to that franchise.

Recent examples include: Ninja Theory’s attempt at Devil May Cry, Slant Six’s Resident Evil: Raccoon City, and DICE’s upcoming take on Star Wars: Battlefront.

Mix and match in the comments below, folks.
