Project Spark announced for Xbox One

Will also come to Windows 8.

Project Spark, a game which encourages users to create games, is coming to the Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC from Team Dakota studio, Microsoft announced during its E3 press conference.

A title “only possible with the Xbox One’s architecture,” Project Spark allows users to create action-adventure games using SmartGlass and Kinect to design worlds.

The demonstration showed how a creator could manipulate and control their game spontaneously as other players play. Games can also be shared online among users.

Project Spark will be available as a free download.
