The director also mentioned FFIII’s Crystal Tower, so right now it’s looking like everything PS1 and back is fair game.

While IX was more like a tribute, this looks to be a straight import of iconic bits and pieces of the previous games.

Sweet. I remember the director saying he’d like to implement VII’s Golden Saucer down the line as well. I really like the idea of iconic elements from the previous games finding their way in with no pretense, just appearing because they’d be cool to see.
