OH YEAH the gattai VSs from LP 2, I forgot about those. They were awesome but can’t really beat the super beam sabers of that VS suit in LP1.

I was actually wondering throughout half the trailer “Wait, where are the Akrids??” It’s like they weren’t even the main focus, which is by far the wrong decision. The Akrid should be the focus of every LP game.

love it, the 12 vs 12 battles online are amazing(shame it seems laggy, and only JPN players are playing.

I don’t know man. LP2 had that one VS that was like a VF-1 from Macross and those 2 vital suits that combined into that one that shot the nuke. Then again it’s Spark Unlimited so I’m with you below sea level.

I was hoping that we’d be able to have persistent character and vital suit customization with parts we craft from hunting various Akrid. Give us a settlement to build up that runs on T-ENG (and must be defended at times) with trade routes to our friends. Where you decide to plant your flag would determine what resources you could easily obtain.

Then you’d continue on with a story element from LP2 with the larger Akrid affecting the environment. This would then be a gameplay mechanic with them altering your seasons and those of your buddies.

Anyway I could go on and on but it will be for naught since we’re not getting that. This one will have some RPG mechanics in it so I’m interested in seeing what exactly those entail. I still hate the designs, they’re the epitome of Western art direction stereotypes from this generation.

I WANT this to be a good game, because who ever really wants a bad game to come out? I’m just not holding my breath with their track record.

Wow….i’ve never heard of either of those games. They’re working on Yaiba? Well let’s see how this game turns out and hope Yaiba is safe….

P.S. Now that I’ve seen how the mechs look like now, my hype is below sea level and tunnelling straight to hell….what the hell happened to the awesome mechs like that one at the end of LP1. That mech was what made me love this series so much T_T

I thought Lost Planet 2 has one of the best coop game, l had a blast plaing it with 3 buddies.

It’s made by Spark Unlimited, creators of awesome games such as Turning Point: Fall of Liberty and Legendary [The Box]. They also have a hand in Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z. So either someone in Japan is drunk as hell, or Spark Unlimited did a massive restructuring and for some reason kept the name.

Well the multiplayer is only fun because you have others to play with you, basicly “anything” these days that is playable with your friends is automaticly fun however this does no justice on how bad the overall game was.

I don’t really like COD games but “sometimes” it’s fun when i play it with my friends IRL, but going online to play with others and try going for some stupid ration kill/rankings that nobody cares about is really pointless imo.

I enjoyed the multiplayer

But we will see how the game ends up, so far i only like Lost Planet 1, the second game was really bad imo.

But I’m also looking forward to: Time and Eternity, Killzone Mercs, and Macross 30th.
