Exactly my thoughts, mate. Ancel is a creative genius and his games are pure, unadulterated fun. Rayman Legends looks (visually) stunning and I can’t wait what this French mastermind will concoct on PS4 and Xbox3. I further hope that he stays with Ubi as they actually give him the freedom and resources tp do his own thing (please don’t mention the delay/multiplatform-announcement of Rayman as it’s a completely different matter). Which other major multiplatform publisher would support games like BgaE and Rayman Origins.

Yea, AC’s combat is what’s kept me out of the series. I like a lot of other things it does, but I couldn’t even finish AC2 because I got bored with it.

If Ancel iterates on what he’s already got, BGE2 will be golden.

Yea, DICE still wants to make it, but I doubt EA will let them. Battlefield is their primary concern, so I’ll be surprised if we see ME2 anytime soon — or at all.

I love the Battle System in the first BG&E (Beating 3 Alpha Section guards in a row is a joy), but the AC one… It’s so easy it makes me bored

Ah. Yea, you can rest easy on that. Ancel definitely wouldn’t go for that. I will say that combat can improve from the original, but there’s no way they’d AC it. Much too flashy for BGE.

I forgot that EA had Respawn. Yea, their project should be a big focus. They should spend time showing real gameplay for NFS and not trailers like they usually do. DICE doing Mirror’s Edge 2 on next gen would be a crazy announcement, and new IP are a must. They need to show more Fuse as well. We haven’t really gotten a good look since it was announced as Overstrike.

As for Syndicate, it was developed by Starbreeze. They announced their new project a few months back, though EA isn’t involved.

I don’t know what that means but holy crap I thought this was scrapped forever. I remember the demo video looking amazing and I dint even play the original. So hyped.

Totally agree, less sports more focus this year on BF4, NFS, announce Mirrors Edge 2, reveal Mass Effect 4, show off Respawn Entertainment new ip, show what the Syndicate developers have been working on, reveal 3 new ips, & a new Sims game for consoles is what EA should be focusing on.

… But I just hope they don’t decide to “Assassins Creed” it

Oooh, I forgot all about Rainbow Six and Brothers in Arms. Yea, if Ubi brings all of that, EA’s not even touching them. The one thing that holds EA back at each E3 is how much time they devote to showing of one of their annual sports games. If they spent that time focusing on new stuff, their shows would go better. I mean, it’s not like we don’t know there’s a new Madden or FIFA, no sense in wasting E3 time on them.
