I haven't seen Norse mythology in games much (Too Human and the Ragnarok franchise are all I can think of), but Greek is definitely overexposed. I think Egyptian, Hindu, and Shinto mythology would all be interesting. Each is ripe for adaptation with lots of people, places, and concepts to be used directly or to be given a new spin. Asura's Wrath touched some Hindu mythology to great effect and Shinto mythology is referenced in bits in pieces through lots of anime, but Egyptian mythology remains untouched.

So, yea, definitely interested in seeing somebody touch on any of those and happy to see Ubi going for it.

Y'know, that's funny. I was just reading IGN's erroneous claim that the Osiris screenshots that leaked last year were for another PoP reboot. Now we know what it was really for.

I hope this project is still on the table andit ddidn't get canned or anything. It sounds interesting. We've far too few games set in Egypt, much less ancient Egypt.
