There’s always the fan translation. I’m probably one of the few people who had the opportunity to pick up a second very low cost PS3 for CFW, but it’s going to be great whenever the fan translation is finished.

On the plus side, there has been a translation script of the 360 version available for ~3 years. It works well enough for me, although there is a lot of added dialogue and content beyond the 360 release, which is annoying.

I’d say, just use the full PS3 translation document when it is officially released, that should be good enough and inexpensive, and won’t require special firmware.

i dont think so, the reason why they still didn’t announced the released date is because they did not want to clash with another big title we got Jan -Ni no Kuni, . Feb -MGSR, March .-God of War: Ascension, .May -The Last of US i said maybe around April or july – september .. possible July

I find it weird that none of the other previews (IGN, GamesRadar, D’toid, etc.) mention the summer 2013 release window. Plus, Crunchyroll’s post says it’s out “first quarter of 2013.” Clearly, one, if not both, of 1UP and Crunchyroll, is wrong.

I’m wondering if either site accidently let the release window slip, or if it was a simple typo. I remember writing a ToX piece once where I wrote “early 2013.” I had thought that was the release window for some reason, but quickly realized there wasn’t a confirmed time frame outside of the general 2013 window and fixed it.

Gonna get it anyway: for the localization of Xillia 2 and future of Tales series.

The game was very rushed, lack of non-DLC costumes(altogether there are 4 costumes…I think), no cameo battle, simplistic EX dungeon, rushed final dungeon (I mean VERY RUSHED), some characters don’t have that many artes, occasionally it has significant slow-down in battle (though this was improved moderately in the sequel). I found the story to be nothing special (best I can say w/o spoilers), The mystic artes are very lackluster (mostly flashing lights….which disappointed me). Basically if you are looking forward to Tales with content (like I was) this one is not for you.

Was speed reading this and my heart almost dropped when I saw the word September. This game “seems” to of been done for the longest time but apparently they don’t wanna step on NnK toes. Hopefully this is out by April the latest.
