Besthesda made some good RPGs(Fallout 3)… I mean, Bioware and Besthesda make RPGs but they ain’t the only ones to make good RPGs now that their rival is CD-Projek, is what I said….

Yea, I’m surprised that Platinum did not get much media attention for it. As far as I know it was the first game on 360 to do so, unless Forza games have been released before Bayo.

Wow was it really 720/60 ? o.O damn i have seen some nice gameplay vids and did notice how better the 360 game plays but to a point where it was 50% better XD well you are right.

Bayonetta was probably the first graphically advanced game this gen running at native 720p@60fps
On PS3 it’s running at 30 fps

Are you serious about Bethesda?
Everything that follows is my personal opinion, no offence.

I think that Bethesda are the most incompetent, inept, over-rated western developer of the decade. Them receiving Studio and Game of the Year awards at last years’s VGAs over Rocksteady and Arkham City respectively was probably the most cruel joke I’ve ever witnessed.
They know shit about programming, scripting, bug-fixing, optimization, writing etc. Additionally they don’t give a fuck about 2/3rds of their customers. PC versions are only playable after fans mod (i.e. patch) them themselves before the developers themselves lift a finger.
I do not think I need to elaborate on PS3 versions of Bethesda-developed games.

Their in-game characters are dull, boring, uninspired and plainly badly written. A story is almost non-existent in their games, which is no huge deal as most people play the game for the open world’s sake and not for the crappy story anyways.

There are open-world games that do both better: Story/Characters and fun. Sleeping Dogs and FC3 come to mind. Both games have their share of technical and performance issues but at least they are playable on all platforms at all times. Initial kinks have also been ironed out rather quickly on all platforms.

So put in a nutshell I seriously hope you mentioned Bethesda in the same sentence as BioWare just or fun, as a joke. Bioware may have struggled a little with their writing in their latest games but they are at least dedicated and tech-savvy, Bethesda are merely a crappy developer with loads of cash and a huge ego bloated by bought reviews. The only good thing they contributed to gaming this generation was funding Arkane Studios and their stellar take on SteamPunk Stealth-Action (Dishonored).

Yeah I don’t see them doing a PS3 release of anything, but it would be nice, as I’m pretty hyped about this game.

CD Projek is a very organized developer hence they managed to create Witcher 2 with limited budget and manpower… Would prefer to play on my PS3 but what the heck, I got it for the PC to support on what they’re doing(DRM-free practices, etc)…

they’re pc devs without unlimited funds and manpower, can’t blame them. 360 is a mid-low-spec pc after all. I’d rather wait than have another pre-patch Bayonetta on PS3

Now they just need to deliver a stellar SciFi RPG to prove the world that BioWare (back when they used to produce stellar games like DA: Origins and ME1 – yes, ME2 was a better game but ME1 is still their best SciFi RPG!) ain’t the only ones to deliver awesome WRPGs to players around the globe.
