This is really more like what happened with Tales of Eternia becoming Tales of Destiny 2 in America.

Not really that bad…it was their first DW game for PS3. More like they were still testing the waters and focused on the graphics more than the gameplay.

My concern lies whether if TK decides to add English dub or not; if not, then how will they resolve the word “SEVEN” that the narrator says…

Hopefully it gets released in the US and if it does, it’s retail and not as a downloadable title (although I’d still end up getting it).

In Japan, the Playstation fighting game was called Sangoku Musou, while it was called Dynasty Warriors outside of Japan. However, when the second game came out in Japan, it was called Shin Sangoku Musou, while they kept the Dynasty Warriors name in other regions (hence the numbering difference).

I thought it was coz Sangoku Musou 6 was so bad, they acknowledged it and made SHIN Sangoku Musou 6 and they called that DW7 in english?

In Japan, it is titled ‘Shin Sangoku Musou 7’ while it is called ‘Dynasty Warriors 8’ in North America. I think this is because in North America, our first Dynasty Warriors was a fighting game, but it was called something else in Japan, so that created some confusion.

7 in JPN and 8 in US.
