For example, Too Human, which is a 360 exclusive, isn’t listed in the list, so it most likely is Silicon Knight’s property. I’d have an easier time believing that Microsoft just allowed Mistwalker to collaborate with Namco Bandai in order to bring the 2 Blue Dragon titles to Nintendo DS. 
I mean, IF Mistwalker owned those trademarks themselves, wouldn’t they have already brought the games on multiple platforms? I mean, it would most likely be profitable as JRPGs biggest userbase is in Japan, and in Japan, many people own a PS3 and a Wii. But seeing as Microsoft competes directly with the PS3 and Wii, they haven’t allowed those games to be released on either PS3 or Wii. 
 
I’m not 100% sure, but wouldn’t Namco Bandai, who have published the BD games on the DS, have to pay Microsoft in order to be allowed to publish the games on the DS?

This showes that mistwalker decided to keep the franchise alive and decided to partner up with namco bandai instead of Microsoft. The only thing that the trademark proves is that blue dragon and lost trademarked by ms, it does not prove that ks owns the property because with each new title a trademark is registered.

So lost 2 could be trademarked by mistwalker themselves or go with a new publisher to trademark lost 2 like they did with blue dragon for the ds by partnering up with namco bandai.

Here, I would say that MS’ own website is a trusted source? You can find both Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon there.

Wiki is not a great source for trusted info. As for ms owning lost and blue again they are mistwalkers property and just because ms has no handheld and thus not competing in that said market is not proof that that ms own it, it’s actually proof they don’t.

In order for a ms game to be placed on a Nintendo product ms would have to pay Nintendo to release it and ms is not going to that especially for blue dragon seeing as it was not the hit they were looking for. Another piece of proof is in the credit of the ds ver. Of blue, no where in the credits do you see ms mentioned.

Like I said this is similar to mass effect ms helped with the 1st mass but it’s not their game like halo or fable it’s owned by bioware

Well, I’m not really sure if Wikipedia is a trusted source, but according to them, Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon are owned by MS studios. 

As for Blue Dragon on Nintendo platforms, the games have only appeared on the handhelds. This doesn’t worry Microsoft as they’re are not competing in the handheld market.

I actually gave my Wii to my parents back in like 2009. I suppose I’ll have to look into the dolphin emulator, I could always buy the game and play it that way. (I’d have to get another Wii mote or Classic pad.) I could do the same thing for Xenoblade. Gosh, this has reminded me how hard it is to keep up with all the games coming out these days.

Both Lost and Blue are owned by mistwalker not MS. It’s possible a Lost odyssey 2 could be be released on wii u or ps3 if mistwalker wanted. Blue Dragon went from 360 to DS.

The issue with Lost and the 1st Blue is that MS help fund the projects and even published them, so the chances that they will be released on ps3 is slim. Of course I Mass Effect 1 was funded alittle by ms and published by ms yet mass effect 1 will be available for ps3 next month.

Those are both Microsoft’s property as I understand it, so don’t expect them any time soon. Hell, Mistwalker wouldn’t even exist without Microsoft’s funding, but they’re not 1st party by any means. 

I’d like them to make another game for PS360. Lost Odyssey is simply one of the best JRPGs this gen, in my opinion. It’s severely underrated by critics for being too “old school”. 

Now how ’bout that Lost Odyssey PS3 edition finally? And Blue Dragon, while they’re at it.
