Ahah, thanks! But I really don't think the whole moderation thing has anything to do with what anyone says...if you're intelligent enough and you respect others in your opinions, you can post some great and insightful comments, no matter what position you hold in any website you're a part of ;) In the end, we're all just here for teh videogamez anyway, so :D

I don't think Namco is the kind of company that can take a risk at selling, I mean, you could make this one for 3ds and be more sure of sellings than vita, because in some part with vita, you need to make people more confident about getting a vita, later buying the game.

Also.. they need to envisage at posibilities, if they would release it for 3ds it would get more demand at west market (like some facebook pages and stuff, or at least more than vita's users).

They *probably* had some sort of contract with Sony, stating they'd re-release these two games for the Vita just like they re-released Abyss for the 3DS.

From what I was able to gather, they weren't necessarily unhappy with the domestic sales, they just didn't think they could take the risk at actually porting the game over to the west because they predicted the western sales would be even worse.

Also, I don't know if you're complimenting me or not, but if you are, then thank you :)

In reply to <a href="https://www.gematsu.com/2012/10/tales-of-hearts-r-announced-for-ps-vita#comment-150257">Warboss Aohd</a>.

Dude, like... You could just learn katakana and hiragana, and be fine. That would probably take you a month or so. It's only once you reach kanji is when it starts becoming difficult to keep track of and very time consuming to study.

Like I said in one of my comments below though... All it takes is practicing the characters 30 minutes a day or so. Even that is better than just sitting idly by and doing nothing. Would you rather at least TRY to make things easier for yourself or do you want to always sit on the sideline and complain when they don't localize another game, despite knowing you could have done something about it?

Ultimately, it's up to you, but personally... I just think it's pretty silly for people to complain about language barriers when the only reason they exist is because of themselves. So, you have some options here:

A. Learn some Japanese, import the games when they come out in Japan so that way, even if it never sees NA shores, you still got to play it and enjoy it anyway
B. Sit back and complain about learning Japanese being pointless or time consuming since you'd only use it for games
C. Complain when you realize the game you've been looking forward to playing isn't getting a localization, then throw all of the blame onto publishers for not picking it up
D. Pray for a miracle and hope someone localizes that totally awkward game that probably only has a 5% chance of making it to North America

I know a LOT of people right now through Facebook that want to play E.X. Troopers, but Capcom doesn't have ANY plans whatsoever to bring it to North America, so they're just sitting back complaining about it. I'm like, "Wow... Really guys? You complain about not being able to play the game, but oh wait... You CAN. It's on the Playstation 3, which is region free. The only reason you won't import it is because it's in Japanese."

And really... After following it for a few months, I can tell you right now, it looks rather import friendly, so you wouldn't even need to know "high level" Japanese to get through it. Even a moderate level of understanding would be fine. In any case, the way I see it... If you don't even bother putting forth the effort to learn Japanese to prevent yourself from going through these "localization crises" again, then that just tells me you didn't care enough about the game in the first place.

Dude, like… You could just learn katakana and hiragana, and be fine. That would probably take you a month or so. It’s only once you reach kanji is when it starts becoming difficult to keep track of and very time consuming to study.

Like I said in one of my comments below though… All it takes is practicing the characters 30 minutes a day or so. Even that is better than just sitting idly by and doing nothing. Would you rather at least TRY to make things easier for yourself or do you want to always sit on the sideline and complain when they don’t localize another game, despite knowing you could have done something about it?

Yeah, I've been with it for a while, but Destiny has always been my favorite (I suppose Director's Cut would be more appropriate though since it's a nice update. Playable Lion makes me hhhhnnnnnnnnggggg~<3). Something about ToS just rubs me the wrong way. I thoroughly enjoyed ToGF when I played through it a couple of years back.

I guess because of ToGF, my expectations were high for ToX. I wasn't too impressed with ToX, honestly. I'm still not quite sure why, but whatever it was... It made me not even want to consider buying the sequel.

Woah, that's a lot! But you should really get ToS; don't you have a Gamecube or Wii? It's really fun and the plot is great and has likeable characters. I understand if you have a long waiting list, but you should check it out sometime. I initially didn't have any interest in ToGf, but I decided to get it after the price drop, and I love it. I still like ToS better though, and not just because I played it first.

Yeah, I go WAY back, man. My first Tales game was Destiny (PS1), then it just kind of snowballed from there. Tales of Phantasia Full Voice Edition (PSP), Tales of Rebirth (PSP), Tales of Destiny Director's Cut (PS2), Tales of Destiny 2 (PS2), Tales of Eternia (PSP), Tales of Legendia (PS2), Tales of the Abyss (PS2), Tales of Phantasia Narikiri Dungeon X (PSP), Tales of Graces F (PS2), Tales of Xillia (PS2), and Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 1, 2, 3 (PSP).

I've missed a couple here and there, but not intentionally. I guess I COULD have imported Tales of Symphonia for PS2 at some point, but eh... ToS just never looked interesting enough to me (yeah, I know... This is coming from a guy who actually went all the way through ToL, lol). At this point though, it doesn't matter if the title is localized. I'll just import it like anything else, if it interests me.

It's fine. I have faith, if only because I haven't been playing this series for that long. I only started playing Tales of Symphonia this March and I beat it twice over the summer, and I'm in the middle of Graces f now. Over the course of a few months, I have become obsessed with the series, but I'm lucky because I haven't been through what you long-time fans have been through waiting for games to be localized, except th wait for Xillia and Vesperia PS3 >: I've had to go through this for Fire Emblem, though, so I know where you're coming from. All we can do is appreciate and enjoy to the fullest what we have and hope for the best, I suppose.
