That doesn’t make sense 3DS has The Little Battlers: Explosive Boost Bursts. Ninokuni getting beat by MW3 is kind of understandable. COD is a big game and COD gets publish by Square Enix over there and you know how Japanese gamers love Square Enix no matter what.

OMG, the PS Vita just released, its not even a year and people like you are putting it down. Second of all Ni No Kuni is being releases under Namco. America and Europe has even gotten the chance to pick it up so why are you making the assumption it will fail when it hasn’t even released for Europe and America yet. Level 5 likes both Nintendo and Sony the reason WKC didn’t do to well because it too much turn based Japanese so of course it not going to do well in Europe or America. By the looks of it LBX did good for PSP/PS Vita on this chart to be in the top 10 and no LBX W will not be getting ported to 3DS.

Sure, I totally understand that. But again, the Vita is sadly underperfoming in Japan, and I think we all kinda want to see the system do the best it can. I’m not saying these sales numbers are bad, given the context, but we’re all waiting for the Vita to start pumping some big numbers, at the very least, domestically, so that more and more publishers start working on games for the system.

It was also released in 2010, almost the prime of the PSP’s life. It’s the same for the 3DS –  just look at the new Wagamama Fashion. The original DS version shattered sales records in its first month. Now the long awaited sequel comes out and it doesn’t look like it’ll make 800K in its first year.

Um they love both companies don’t know where you got that idea from.

It definitely is, but one can’t help but compare these sales with that of the game when it released on the psp.

Granted, this was a re-release which also means lots of people in Japan already had the game, played it and didn’t feel like paying for it again, but still…it’s hard not to think about it.

That being said…whoa, Toki to Towa sure fell down. It didn’t do very well in it’s opening week, but to know it barely charted at 20 this week feels really weird. I somehow expected the game to be more sucessful than it actually was.

Bravely Default and Project x Zone actually held up as expected, denoting the usual slump that happens with RPGs in Japan after the initial peak, but still managed to hold out better than Toki to Towa.

Well if anything I’m pleasently surprised to see how Bravely Default is holding out. It’s turning out to be quite a hit, knowing it’s not attached to the FF brand name and whatnot.

Err.. isn’t 21K pretty good for a Vita title?
