Thoughts on AC3 reviews –

Most seem to criticize the new controls, along with the game having the same old mechanics as the other AC titles.

I don’t really get the criticism of the game being like other AC series. If a new Metal Gear Solid game was released, would anyone expect it to be unfamiliar? Or have series norms completely removed? I doubt it. In fact, wouldn’t doing that make it a different game entirely? This is how I feel about the reviews criticizing AC for keeping elements from previous games in it. It doesn’t make much sense to me, what were they expecting?

New control layouts always take some time to adapt to. I’m not sure how they could be that terrible. I’ll wait to see how they are when I play the game.

Quick thoughts on AC3 Lib –

So, pretty much, it’s a true portable AC experience. That is really all I needed to know.

I’ll admit, some of the reviews did surprise me. To be clear, I don’t really let reviews influence my purchases. I do read them, I like to read the opinions.

Ign released a pretty good summary video so you should go check it out. I think it will benefit you from picking up the ezio trilogy in winter for $40 the games are great IMO.

 You either have to play Brotherhood or Revelations or read up on the story.
