Myself and my team were caught up in the 1500 layoffs during IBM’s annual restructuring this month. Today was my last day after over 2 years. I brought them over 3 million in revenue in the last 12 months. Guess my salary cut to deeply into that profit margin LoL!

Luckily I start my new job that is much better on Monday.

Here’s hoping these guys land on their feet just as quickly as I was lucky enough to.

I am sorry to hear those people will be losing their jobs though. I wish there was another alternative to them closing down so they could come back and try to develop a SOCOM game that SOCOM fans wanted.

I hope many of the staff are put onto other teams within SCEWW or elsewhere asap.

At the same time, I will miss SOCOM and I will impatiently wait for its true return.
