Sal’s Blog: Happy 2012

Confetti cannons... fire!

Alright! It’s the new year! 2012 in all its greatness. Cool. I’m psyched.

What’s up everyone? How was your New Year’s Eve? I spent the evening with my girlfriend and family. I ate plenty of pasta, chicken, stuffed shrimp, clams, and squid, and celebrated 2012’s arrival with a bowl of lentils soup, because Italians believe it’ll bring good fortune, or something. We watched the ball drop on ABC – Dick Clark surprisingly still hosting (I’d like to know why he’s orange). I didn’t head out to Times Square, myself, because it would’ve been madness – madness I don’t need to enjoy my holiday. I had fun.

So, resolutions, anyone? I’d like to improve my posture and try getting back into music (I have the voice of an angel – I think, I’m totally judging myself), and of course try to take Gematsu to the next level (what level are we on now?). I was thinking of site redesigns earlier this week and tried putting a few things together, but I scrapped ’em all before I even finished. They were meh. Other than that, I’m hoping to get more writers on board, get more original content flowing, and probably some other things.

Anyway. It’s past 2:30 a.m. here.

What’s everyone playing first in 2012? What’s your most anticipated release this year? And do you think Final Fantasy Versus XIII will finally hit shelves this year (in Japan, at least)? Or am I loopy?
