@FaithlessMr: Abyss for 3DS, and it didn’t come out with heavy RPG competition on the same platform… :p

The only bigger reason I can think of is so that it’s the same fiscal quarter… I’m not sure if every company’s fiscal year ends in March, so it could be earnings report-related…

Abyss did sold out pratically everywhere two weeks after it’s release :P So the same could happen with Graces F.

But yeah, it’s a really dumb move on their part indeed, unless there’s a bigger reason for them to do so.

@FaithlessMr: Don’t misunderstand me: I *want* these games to succeed, too.

I just think it’s a terrible decision, moreso when some of those game had sales below the expected number in Japan and were brought over to “test the waters” (Tales) and/or after many fan requests (Last Story).

I just think that doing this in a two-month period with other big RPGs lauching is a bad move.

It’s like lauching an aspiring FPS in the same month as Battlefield or Modern Warfare. |:

I really hope all these games succed, at least to a certain degree though….It’s bad that they keep pushing them all back to Feb/March, but I expect some of these to be delayed.

It was in the original, Japanese version. Chances are the translation team decided to change the name. It happens frequently.

Second, am I the only one thinking that every RPG set for those months (Feb/Mar) will tank except FF13-2 and ME3?

I mean, seriously, what’s the decision process behind setting these dates? Would April/May be too late? Or do you guys think it’s more of a fiscal year/quarter type of thing?

And I do need to get me a Wii meanwhile :x
