But yeah, kind of wish they'd lift it later, just so we could get up our review with everyone else. But I'm happy we'll at least be able to get it up before launch day.

Goddamn it I literally cant wait for tommorow when this comes out! Reviews look great and I cant stop watching the trailers and interviews.

Also, it will good to read another review from Matt, I thought he’d left the site for a while.

In reply to Sal Romano. @Sal Romano: This happens with every game I think. My theory is that it's the hype. I LOVED Dark Souls and told people it was a 9/10 the first week I played it. By the second week, when it was all said and done It really felt closer to an 8. The hype caused me to rate it higher I think, and I believe most reviewers now days are affected by this as well. For that reason I can't really blame these reviewers since they want to get the reviews out before the game releases. And wow...they're lifting their embargo that early? Is that normal?

In reply to Kougeru. @Kougeru: Hrm. Hopefully our review will have better insight then. Matt (who hasn't written in ages) will be doing it. As for Skyward Sword, we'll have a review for that, too. Embargo lifts tomorrow, but we won't have it up by then merely for the fact that we just got it. We WILL have it up before release, though.

After reading a few them, it definitely seems overrated. Joystiqs review for example didnt match the score they gave it. They complained about technical issues, repetitive quests, and lackluster melee combat. The melee combat was the biggest issue in the entire franchise for me. It’s just so boring and repetitive, nothing other than click click click click click. After reading over 10 of these reviews, It definitely rather sounds like a 7.5-8/10 or a 3.5/5.I hate how nearly every big game gets vastly overrated as everyone ignores all it’s downsides. You should do more of these so I can read a bunch of them easily and make a better judgement based on the things all the reviews have in common. Definitely skipping this for Skyward Sword. I’ll get it when the complete collection comes out with all the DLC in about a year or two. Thank you for doing this roundup.
