Street Fighter X Tekken fights its way to PlayStation Vita

Capcom’s crossover brawler is in development for the PlayStation Vita, the publisher has announced.

inFAMOUS protagonist Cole MacGrath will also be a playable character in the game, exclusive to Sony platforms.

Produced by Yoshinori Ono, the tag team fighter will feature characters from both Street Fighter and Tekken, incorporating mechanics from each franchise.

Developed by Capcom, this iteration will largely depend on the formers’ 2D style and gameplay elements.

Namco Bandai’s interpretation, Tekken X Street Fighter, is set to follow.

Street Figher X Tekken is expected to launch in 2012 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita. See screenshots of Cole in action at the gallery.
