Nintendo hires new Executive VP of Sales
Nintendo America has a new executive vice president of Sales & Marketing, the firm has announced. Scott Moffitt, formerly of Henkel Consumer Goods, will now head up the position, reporting directly to Nintendo America President Reggie Fils-Aime.
“Scott Moffitt makes a marvelous addition to the Nintendo team,” Fils-Aime said. “His expertise in driving growth will be a terrific asset as we build momentum for the Nintendo 3DS system and continue to reach new audiences for the Wii console.”
“Nintendo is a brand unlike any other,” Moffitt said. “I look forward to helping shape the company’s future for all kinds of players.”
Moffitt has over twenty years of experience. Among Henkel, he’s also worked for PepsiCo, where he oversaw product development and repositioning efforts for beverage brands like Mountain Dew and Sierra Mist. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Arizona State University and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
