Discussionist: Games of winters past

For some, this time of year may be typically associated with creating and conjuring particularly potent memories. Naturally, we’re inclined to focus on memories of our favorite pastime – video games.

Is there a game that you specifically associate with the festive season? Perhaps your first outing with a particular title occurred over the holiday period. Moreover, perhaps you’ve spent an entire winter break indulging in a particular game.

On a more somber note, however, many might find solace in video games at this time of year. For me, Final Fantasy VII is the ultimate heart warmer – a tale to remind us that even through loss and turmoil, things can always get better.

Happy Holidays, everybody! Let the discussion commence.
