Move seems tailor made for a game like Epic Mickey as does any game that has the main character wielding a wand/staff (Harry Potter, Dr. Who, Gandalf).

And you're right Sal, the biggest problem with Kinect games in general is moving the onscreen avatar forcing most games to be on rails since you can't exactly walk towards the screen without a treadmill.

I'm sure you saw the Harry Potter on-stage demo where two actors from the film were standing in place waving/flailing their arms as the onscreen characters automatically moved forward from one shooting gallery session to the next.

Then there's the soccer game that looked more like a Foosball session but with even less movement.

The fact that Milo just got canceled can't be a good sign for Kinect.

I'd be interested to see how it turns out on Wii first before they do any ports of it. Have the sales figures for Move been good, have they?

That's the one thing that puzzles me about Kinect -- moving. Even in that Star Wars game they revealed at E3, you have to slant your body forward to "thrust" in a what looks like a pre-determined direction. So I don't quite see how it would work, either.

When I first heard about Epic Mickey and saw the amazing artwork for it I was really looking forward to seeing it in HD. Since it was announced for Wii utilizing motion controls that was the first thing that popped into my mind was the other consoles being able to play it at one point as well. So, if it get announced for the PS3 as well, you can color me sold. Although, I'd be interested in how it would play with Kinect; moving your hand as the wand? Sure. Moving Mickey around? Puzzling!
