Many Japanese games are colorful, artistic and emotional, with well made characters and solid gameplay. And the “Japanese” part only adds to that – look at the Yakuza series for example.

East and West have their own identities and should definately stay that way. I love games from all countries and nations, and see no point in them all being conglomerated.

They were always ambitious, magical, well thought-over. Western rpg’s were more about “dungeons, dragons, heros with axes and slaying dragons”. Fun as well. But i always were more attracted by japanese work.
