SEGA of America and SEGA of Europe have announced Resonance of Fate today, better known in Japan as End of Eternity, an RPG by tri-Ace for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 due to release in Spring 2010.
Resonance of Fate marks the first time developers tri-Ace have fully partnered with anyone other than Square Enix. As of now, SEGA of America isn’t providing details on the story (they say go read Famitsu), but they’ll probably come out during E3 2009.
I don’t know if it’s just me, but the name change doesn’t seem necessary. Resonance of Fate just doesn’t sound as great as End of Eternity, does it? In the end though, it’s still the same game.
