While KZ2 is being touted as a huge hit it’s a far cry from what both Gears of War games did. The first did 3 million in about a month while the sequel managed to do 2 million in just about a week. It took 7 weeks for KZ2 to reach that. For Sony to brag about that is paltry.

One can only hope that Uncharted 2 and God of War III will do some impressive numbers. But the best chance of Uncharted 2 selling a million in its first week, or even GoWIII is a PS3 price drop. If Sony can manage to get the system down to $299 they’ll have a better chance of selling more hardware and software.
